Embodied mental health and wellness services

Support for the real you

At Fairbanks Somatic Therapy and Wellness we celebrate the goofy, the strange, the helplessly awkward, and everything in between.

Through deep listening and partnership, we’ll develop trust, curiosity and compassion to help you meet your goals without pathologizing the core of who you are.

Whether you’re looking for help reducing stress and anxiety, managing depression, supporting neurodivergence or gender identity, or healing from trauma we will walk alongside you without judgement.

heal from trauma
...our bodies don’t care about logic, truth, or cognitive experience. They care about safety and survival.
— Resmaa Menakem

News/Events

On January 18th I’ll be at the #littlethings resource fair which is a free, family-oriented event for anyone in Fairbanks. I’ll lead a few interactive demos on small movement practices you can do with (or without!) kids to help chase away the winter blues.

Starting January 22nd I’ll be facilitating a new weekly class using Butoh, ecstatic dance, Authentic Movement, and creative group experiences. We’ll address fitness and mental health holistically by exploring your movement preferences, embodied self-care, and healing-in-community. Suitable for ages 14+. Drop in and pay cash or pay online any time here or via Venmo @FairbanksSomaticWellness.
